Waterproofing &
French Drains

Protect your home with Waterproofing & French Drains

If you’re dealing with a permanently damp area in your lawn or end up with water in your basement or crawl space after a heavy rain, there are easy solutions — Crawl Space Encapsulation or a French drain outside or inside your home.

Whether it’s a utility space, finished basement or crawl space, unexpected water can damage walls and floors, destroy carpeting, ruin furniture, and lead — pretty quickly — to mold, pest invaders and wood rot in your flooring. Terratec offers cost-effective solutions to these problems.

Spray Waterproofing

Waterproofing

Wet basements are a result of water intrusion through your foundation, either above or below the soil. When water is seeping into your basement from outside sources, Terratec uses a method that has been proven in removing water from your home and keeping your foundation, safe and dry. We use a spray seamless waterproofing on the foundation and walls, then install a foam insulation drip board. Water will attempt to come in, then drop down the drip board into our French drain system taking the water away from your foundation to safe drainage.

If you have water collecting in your basement, don’t wait, call Terratec for a free inspection to understand the source of the problem and how we can fix it for you backed by a warranty.

French Drain Installation

It’s essential you have good drainage to ensure your house remains dry and mold-free. A French drain is one way to redirect pooling water. Terratec will have one of our specialists do a free inspection of your wet basement and determine where the source of the water is and let you know how we will repair the problem.

An outdoor French drain is a trench covered in rocks and it can work beautifully with your landscaping. It’s connected to pipes to guide water away from your home. In a “wet” basement, the water presses against the foundation, slowly leaking through. However, a French drain reroutes the water near the foundation and releases it elsewhere. Let a Terratec specialist do a free inspection to determine the best solution for ridding your basement of water and moisture and let us make your yard beautiful again.
